This is the beginning of the season ride when I head off into the wilds to check out new routes, check that old routes are still open and that the hotels and guest houses are still of a quality our riders have come to expect. It’s the off-road tour equivalent of free-stylin. Conditions are wet and muddy. We might might make it through we might not. Tough and unpredictable and for the experienced off-roader only.
