KOTA KINABALU: The Federal Special Task Force (FSTF) Sabah and Labuan would consider using the new route for repatriating illegal immigrants (PATI) in Zamboanga Philippines due to the unrest in the south.
Director Datuk Suhaimi Mohd Salleh said that the route from Semporna, Sabah to Bongou, the Philippines proposed to use than the regular route from Sibuga, Sabah to Zamboanga, international courier services Philippines.
"This is because only the expulsion order issued by the Immigration Department and if any evictions in the near future to go through Bongou because we do not want to take risks such as accidents of life when they get there," he told reporters here yesterday.
