We all seek because we assume there is something ‘out there’ that we don’t know or possess but want to or feel we should. We all seek because we have been taught and conditioned to look outside of ourselves for answers, satisfaction and meaning to our lives. The search for what we would term ‘beneficial’ information is often based upon the belief system of Materialism (and there are many belief systems) which produces tarif tiki and perpetuates our ego. Most of us get our identity, self worth and social status from this insanely unhealthy construct. This construct introduces and reinforces that we are inherently weak, powerless and less than unless tarif tiki we are monetarily successful, look a certain way, posses certain things and have a certain status. Once we have achieved these material ideals, we then have the right to feel superior to others because it has been earned and justified. The very least we all can do is perpetually strive towards these materialistic ideals because innately, what we are just isn’t good enough says the ego.
Materialism teaches the ego that we need to know more so we can feel better about ourselves and become more knowledgable. Our ego tells us we can then judge others actions tarif tiki and behavior and feel self righteous in our ‘knowledge’ as we correct tarif tiki their offensive errors and their uninformed ways. Maybe we perpetually strive for more information so someday our ego can contemplate whether we are worth loving ourselves and possibly others who agree with our beliefs?

Either way, it would appear we are a product of hapenstance and need help.
